Well-known in Holland are the series of romantic pen-drawings of town views  that can be admired in books and that have been issued in the form of postcards by Buro AD.

In the nineties illustrating books was an important part of his work; mainly children's books but also juvenil books, school books and brochures. 

Next to illustrating children's book, he also got a great deal of enjoyment out of writing them.
